Douglas Lantz and Thomas Cohen founded Advantage Technology Group in 1997. Equipped with over 25 combined years of IT consulting experience, the two began Advantage Technology Group to provide a more client-focused consulting company.

They recognized that many clients were apprehensive about consultants who did not have both the technical experience necessary to design, build and manage IT solutions, as well as the communication and interpersonal skills that are required in the consulting industry.

Advantage Technology Group was founded on the idea that consultants should be both technicians and communicators. We are firm believers that it takes this type of consultant to satisfy client needs, and we continue to keep this practice at the forefront of our business today.
